About Me

I am a self-confessed romantic and fun. I love a love story. I love witnessing the couple and their guest’s emotions throughout the ceremony.

My passion is to help making dreams come true, celebrating your commitment and love through a ceremony that’s meaningful and reflective of your lifestyle, but without the fuss and stress of a more traditional wedding.

I am multi-cultural and multi-lingual. I am fluent in English and Portuguese and would also be able to deliver a Spanish ceremony. 

I emigrated from Brazil to Queenstown in 2004. I fell in love with New Zealand and with my kiwi husband. Together since 2007, we are raising our family in Auckland.

I am registered through The Department of Internal Affairs Births and Marriages and I am a qualified Toastmaster.  I have a Diploma of Celebrancy Studies and have been in the industry since 2018. I hold a Diploma in Bachelor of Business and I am currently completing a Post-Graduate Diploma in business with a specialisation in Leadership. I have a strong commitment to continued education, quality service, professional standards and ethics and strive to deliver an excellent service.

Ceremony Styles

Personalised Ceremony

A bespoke, crafted created just for you. It reflects the effort and time I put into getting to know the couple. Lot of my attention to get the ceremony perfect and unique. Rehearsal can be requested as additional.

Simple and Sweet Ceremony

A pre-written standard script, an elopement style for those who want to get married without the wedding expense inviting maximum of ten people. No meetings. Simple process. You can personalise your personal vows if you wish.

Each ceremony is unique and the ceremony fee will vary accordingly to the requirements for your special day.

Marriage licence is a separated cost and you must apply directly with the Department of Internal Affairs: https://marriages.services.govt.nz.

The ceremony location can be anywhere you like.
For locations out of Auckland city additional travel costs may apply.

If you are planning an outdoor wedding at a public open space, please check with the Auckland Council if you need to apply for a permit, email: events@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz or call 09.301.0101 and talk to an event facilitator.

Client Love

Mike and I were looking for someone special to perform our surprise wedding ceremony at our joint 40th birthday party in October 2019. Francieli stepped in after our original celebrant fell ill a few months before the day. Francieli was prompt, efficient, flexible and happy to fit in with plans already in place with the venue and the timelines of the event – she was a pleasure to make our plans with. With our ceremony being a surprise to everyone in attendance, we had some specific requests to ensure everything went smoothly – we didn’t want the wedding to overshadow the fact this was our birthday celebration as well. We were looking for a ceremony that wasn’t too long, not too “weddingy” but still captured our love for each other and the significance of the event. Francieli took all of our requests and thoughts on board and delivered everything we wanted – including being the important person to deliver our surprise during the “speeches”. (even asking for feedback on her outfit of choice before the event to ensure she would be in keeping with our theme!) The reaction to the surprise from our friends and family was so amazing and there was lots of celebration, laughter and tears all round. Thank you Francieli for your part in what was a day so full of memories that they are still being talked about, celebrated and will last a lifetime!

Ashlea and I were looking for an intimate and private way to be wed whilst in New Zealand when travelling with our young son last year. We came across Francieli’s services via the NZ website for Celebrants. Having narrowed down to celebrants in the central Auckland area we still had a very large number to choose from, we therefore engaged several and spoke via email from England, Francieli was clearly the standout of all and this was further cemented by a Skype conversation we had whereby she explained the whole process and we were also shown the lovely garden location where we would eventually be wed. We found that Francieli was really helpful throughout the whole process and was sure to find out all about us and what we wanted, this making the day itself a great and truly memorable success. We had at one stage hoped to be wed in Auckland Domain however we were too late with this idea to get the correct permissions, something Francieli was quick to assist us with, we therefore had a private ceremony in Francieli’s tropical garden with our photographer and a friend of Francieli’s as our witnesses. By an odd twist it turned out that these witnesses had worked together in years gone by in photo shoots, this after the photographer was recommended to us by a mutual friend in England, small world! The ceremony written and presented by Francieli was beautiful and really showed she had understood and listened to us throughout the planning stage, even involving our baby son to bless the rings. The hour or so we were at the residence was so chilled out and stress-free, our son loved it there and so did we. In the end, we shared a little champagne with everyone and then went to get some additional photos at the Fernery in Auckland Domain. It was a beautiful day.

We cannot recommend Francieli enough if you are looking for a celebrant who is diligent, kind and loves love. Francieli will take the time to get to know you and provide you with options to make your day as personal and special as it can be. She understands the importance of making good memories and really helps couples to do that. She has a beautiful warmth and welcoming way about her that makes you feel at ease on a day when emotions can be running high. We couldn't have hoped for more - she is fantastic.

Francieli sent me a message on a wedding page on Facebook when I was looking for an MC as I could not find someone in my guest list confident enough to run our big day. We set up a couple of days to meet and she has promptly sent through a list of what information she needs prior to our meetings and the big day. All the meetings we had prior to the wedding were super organised. At first, we only asked for her to be at reception as we did not feel the need for an MC during the ceremony however she advised she wanted to make it more personal by being present during the ceremony itself. This came in handy as now we had someone to run our "photo groups" and call out the groups to take photos. Come to the ceremony, everything went to plan as to how we had briefed her. She went the extra mile of contacting people doing speeches so she could give them a good introduction. The guests loved her and their feedback was they really liked how she went the extra mile learning a word or two of our language! She really kept the night entertaining and the whole spiel did not feel like it was scripted. It was like she knew me and my husband personally. She told us this was her first wedding MC gig however felt like she's been doing this for a long time. I would recommend Francieli to couples looking for an MC. You will not regret getting her for your big day! 🙂

Marcus and I would like to thank you for the amazing work you have done for us in our wedding. Me, in particular, I had no idea what marriage was all about. You made our ceremony so well customised and so different than what we expected, it was really made for Marcus and I only. I even could discover what a marriage actually means to Marcus (my husband) something that I did not know until that time. Your questions were quite deep and made both of us really think about our union and about what we mean to each other and why we were getting married. It was a process that if I did my ceremony with a different celebrant I probably would not gone through those thoughts, and in our view those thoughts really made our union something more than special. It was unique, a day to we never forget. You also gave us many tips and advices on things that we weren’t sure on how to do. The communication were easy and straightforward.
